On June 6, The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital hosted the 2017 Disney Institute: Disney’s Approach to Employment Engagement.
Scott Needham, President of Princeton Air, attended this event to better educate himself on how to effectively create a better work environment and then relay this worthy information to his staff. "The better the work environment is, the happier your employees will be and in turn will deliver exceptional customer service."
Participants discovered how to create a work culture where desired behaviors are consistently demonstrated. There are four interconnected components that define an organization’s culture: employee selection, training, communication, and care.
The seminar also taught business owners aspects such as:
• Adapting time-tested Disney business insights to assess and improve your organizational culture.
• Shaping your organization's culture based on desired employee behaviors, and select people who are a right-fit for your culture.
• Adapting training strategies that ensure employees are confident in their roles by creating a holistic plan that drives employee engagement.
• Developing high-quality communication that strengthens your organization's culture and engages your employees.
• Creating a supportive environment through genuine care, including employee recognition and the elimination of workplace hassles.
