What Is Home Performance with ENERGY STAR?

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is a program that offers whole-house solutions to help you conserve energy and lower energy costs. These solutions can save you up to 30% in energy costs while improving indoor air quality and overall home health.

It all starts when you schedule an energy audit with a HPwES accredited and certified contractor. Your contractor will perform in-depth inspections and diagnostic testing of your home, including its heating and cooling equipment, appliances, and insulation. After the assessment, you’ll receive a detailed report that outlines recommended home upgrades, plus available financial incentives that may cover the cost of the work.

Why Upgrade Your Home with ENERGY STAR?

Here in New Jersey, homeowners who schedule an energy assessment with a HPwES contractor may qualify for:

  • Up to $4,000 in rebates

  • Financing for 7 years, with approved credit

  • Financing for 10 years, with approved credit

And since you’re making your home more energy efficient, you can expect benefits like up to 30% savings on energy costs, reduced wear and tear on heating and AC equipment, longer lasting heating and AC equipment, and greater overall indoor comfort.
